Well. the blizzard of 2008 has hit and we are snowed in! I don't know how much snow has fallen, but there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. We have shoveled the driveway twice and it needs it again. The poor dogs can barely get through the yard. We have spent the day playing Scrabble and Dominos, napping, and playing Poppit on the computer (when we aren't shoveling). Poor Kelly is bored out of her mind! Duke and North Carolina play later, so that is something to look forward to on television.
My parents' flight was cancelled (they were leaving for Africa today). They are spending the night in Columbus and going to try again tomorrow. I hope they make it as they are scheduled for a lot of really cool stuff when they get there.
Here is a video of the snowfall. As you can see, it is quite deep! Sorry about Bailey stopping to pee in the middle - I wasn't expecting that as I was filming!! Take care and stay warm!

- Two girls with a new camera - we decided we should make use of it and start a blog. We have 2 dogs - Baxter who stars in our opening video and Bailey, our golden retriever. We also have 2 cats - Benjamin, who is Mr. Social, and Stella, who is Ms. Anti-social. You will probably be seeing a lot of all of them because frankly, we don't have much else to talk about on here.

we were in the same boat!! julie shoveled at least three times yesterday at least outside the garage and a tunnel to the barn...check out both our blogs we got good snow shots and videos....julie drove up and down the driveway today in 4WD so we could get out of here...first stop was starbucks of course!!! see you sunday!!
The snow was crazy! I dug out my car then people driving down the road blocked it in again so i had to dig it out again!! Then the snow plows on Main St blocked in our road, so everyone kept getting stuck.. that was a funny sight. I just stayed in until Monday...
